Our Birmingham varsity boys volleyball team are on a winning streak of 3-0 this preseason after beating Kennedy, Monroe and Poly.  Setter Daniel Lopez, #3, and Outside, Romeo Caraballo, #42, are leading the team to victory as the season begins.  Since Coach Anthony Thomas has retired, a new coach, Coach Patrick has taken the position. All players attend Birmingham but Libero (middle back), Jonas Acebes.

“I feel this season will be great and successful if we focus and do what we have to do”, says team captain Daniel Lopez. When Daniel Soto, #27, was asked how he predicts the season will go, he said with enthusiasm “Road to city!” and “Its going to be interesting, we have new players and a new coach!” 

Our Birmingham boys are focused, determined and ready to win.  Their first season home game will be against El Camino on March 25 at 3:30 p.m. in the main gym.
