When I’m on the mound you’ll never see me frown.

This game changed my life in ways I can’t explain.

When times were bad it kept me sane,

When I’m on the diamond the world is mine

I’ll do anything for this game.

Because it changed my life for the good

It kept me out of the hood.

Only I knew I could.

I wish my dad would of done the same.

But my brain and his brain aren’t the same,

I made some mistakes.

Now I hope I can change

Shout out to baseball

For keeping me in school and not in a coffin where they thought I would be.
