Alexander Rodriguez is a 17-year-old junior born on January 25, 2008 in Los Angeles, California, and he is attending Birmingham Community Charter High School. This is Alexander’s first year in Journalism and he is happy to be in the class and excited for the adventure and new things to come in his first year of Journalism. Alexander enjoys writing stories, likes to keep up with the knowledge of what’s going on and he also wants people to know about what is happening in the Birmingham Community. He is looking forward to his first year as a journalist, and he is excited for what’s to come.

Alexander attended Birmingham for his freshman year and half of his sophomore year. Still, he transferred out to Reseda High School but just recently came back to Birmingham for better opportunities. He plans on going to college to study in the business field, entrepreneurship, or real estate. Alexander has had so much passion for business that in his 2nd year of high school, he started his own detailing business, and it is going well for him. Alexander comes from a long line of business owners throughout his family. He also has a big passion for soccer and hopes to go to college to play soccer and study business. He has been playing soccer since he was four years old and has never stopped. He has traveled to various states and cities to play in tournaments such as Las Vegas, Cincinnati, New Jersey, and Columbus.

Alexander also has a very big love for animals, mostly reptiles, as he owns two reptiles, such as a bearded dragon and a leopard gecko. He plans to expand his reptile collection very soon! He is planning on getting a rainbow boa or a ball python. Alexander loves to go to soccer fields in his free time as that is when he feels the most like himself and when he feels the closest to his grandpa who unlocked his passion for him. He also loves to spend some of his free time watching movies with his family, and he loves to spend time with his reptiles.  He also likes to read a lot of books that teach him and show him more about the world of business, and every day he is expanding his knowledge of entrepreneurship and real estate.  Alexander is planning on going into barbering school after high school as he also has a passion for cutting hair and has been cutting his family’s hair for some time now. He wants to take classes to get better at it, and one day grow big on it if entrepreneurship or real estate doesn’t go as planned.

Alexander loves learning new things/skills in life as he always likes to be knowledgeable about a lot of things. He plans on going to college and graduating with an entrepreneurship major or in real estate. He plans on buying his own house and his dream car by the age of 25. He plans on buying his parents their own house and having them retire by the age of 30. Alexander plans to accomplish all of his goals in high school, college, and in life.
