Carmen Maciel, Staff Writer
Carmen is half Honduran and half Mexican and she understands and speaks Spanish. She lives with both her parents and her one older brother. She loves doing makeup and also long nails with designs. She loves listening to music and has a very mixed taste. She loves Suicide Boys, Pierce the Veil, Pachinko, The Cure, The Smiths, Lana del Rey, Sleeping with Sirens, Chris Travis, and a lot more. She and her family love animals and have two dogs and one cat. Her cat is named Charlie. Charlie is her whole world and she loves it so much. She also loves watching movies and has a lot of favorites.
She wants to be a psychiatric nurse when she’s older and wishes to work at a facility or a hospital. She’s not entirely sure what college she wants to attend, but somewhere nearby and not too far. She’s been at Birmingham since freshman year and all her older cousins and her older brother went here too. At first, she wanted to go to Grant instead of Birmingham since all her middle school friends went there and since it was the closest school. After some time, she changed her mind and made many friends and good memories here at Birmingham.
