Christopher Mowry, Photography Editor
Chris is a 16-year-old senior at Birmingham Community Charter High School. He likes watching and playing baseball & football. He enjoys playing video games with friends and working out in the gym. Chris is hoping to pursue photography in college; however, he’s not sure what college he wants to attend. Chris is the youngest in his family of four with two older brothers and one oldest sister. He has been attending Birmingham for all four years. He played for the Birmingham Football team during his first two years at Birmingham.
One of his favorite foods is a medium-rare steak, but he often enjoys pizza. Chris is into all different types of music like Rock n Roll, EDM, Rap, and much more. Although he doesn’t speak Spanish, he enjoys some Spanish music from time to time. He loves Marvel and DC movies and shows, and he also likes Star Wars and anime. Chris is hoping to be a professional photographer for a sports team, or something close to that. He enjoys going to all of the many Birmingham sports games, because not only does he have friends on those teams but it’s an amazing opportunity to take pictures and update his portfolio. These are the reasons he accepted the role of Photography Editor forĀ The Patriot Post.
Chris’s grandpa was in the military. His dad was a Recon Marine and his middle brother is going into the Marines as an airplane mechanic. Those are the reasons he stands up every morning for the Pledge of Allegiance. He is excited and looking forward to all of the fun senior events like Prom and Grad Night at Disneyland. He hopes to attend every football game–both home and away–because the players are some of his closest friends. He hopes to get great pictures for senior night. He wants to buy and learn how to drive a motorcycle, but he prefers the look of the Harley Davidson Dyna model. He doesn’t have a license or permit but is hoping to get it within the next year or so.
He’s never been outside of California, but he has been to all sorts of places in California like Disneyland, Six Flags, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Universal Studios. He hopes to visit Japan, Amsterdam, and the Netherlands in his life. He wants to live in the Netherlands if possible, but just anywhere outside the U.S. will satisfy him.
