Stefany Soto is a 15-year-old sophomore currently attending Birmingham Community Charter High School. She was born in El Salvador but later moved to California at the age of three years old, she is the youngest of three siblings, which includes an older sister and an older brother. Her dream is to go to UCLA, then later earn her M.D. degree and become a well-known doctor or nurse. She is not sure what type of doctor or nurse she wants to be but she is trying to keep her options open. She wishes to become a doctor/nurse because she has always been interested in medicine but also wants to help people in any way she can.

She is known to always be hanging out with her friends and loves to catch up with them. Stefany feels that whenever she’s with her friends she can be herself and always makes great memories with them. She has two amazing best friends who support her through a lot. She has many hobbies she loves including, crochet, drawing, crafts, building legos, and sports. She has always been interested in these things and does them relatively often. She loves to use her knowledge of arts and crafts and surprises her friends with the things she makes for them. Her favorite sports are volleyball and soccer, which brings her a sense of peace and happiness. She loves to play with her friends and has been playing these sports for around seven years. 

She likes to travel and learn new things about new places and/or people. Some of her favorite places are Yosemite, Big Bear, Sequoia, and Lake Tahoe. While on road trips, she loves listening to music, and some of her favorite artists are Tyler the Creator, Stray Kids, Beabadoobee, Kendrick Lamar, 21 Savage, Radiohead, Tame Impala, and Gorillaz. Music is her way of de-stressing and usually helps her concentrate more on what she is doing. She is always open to listening to new artists and genres. Movies are another way Stefany likes to de-stress. Some of her favorite movies include Fast and Furious, The Lego Batman Movie, The Maze Runner, and Alice In Wonderland. 

In the end, Stefany and her family are very close and have always been very supportive of her. They always push her to be the best version of herself and strive to be who she wants to be. She hopes they will continue to be supportive of Stefany growing with her and being able to make her family proud as well as helping them any way she can in the future. She believes she will fulfill her dreams of becoming a doctor/nurse and helping as many people as she can in any way, shape, or form.
