Yael Temoxtle is a 16-year-old junior and this will be his first year attending Birmingham Charter High School. He was born on August 25, 2008, in Mission Hills, California. Given it is his first year at BCCHS, he is enjoying the activities and dynamic system of the school. He is the middle child of four, and he has two older sisters and a younger brother. Yael started playing soccer at the age of six and has been playing ever since. He hopes to keep pursuing his dreams of playing soccer in college by playing in the Birmingham Boys Soccer Team.

Yael has never been a very social person so he does not like to interact with too many people. It came as a surprise to him when he transferred to Birmingham at such an awkward time, in the middle of the semester. Although it was awkward, he still had many teammates from his soccer club who also played for the school. He still feels a bit unhandy in the middle of everything but excluding how he feels about being around new people and a new environment, he has enjoyed his first couple of days at Birmingham. Yael feels like he has been getting more help with his classes and finally believes that he has a chance to get into a decent university.

Yael plans to attend a 4-year university and major in archeology, while also being able to play soccer at the collegiate level. He has always had an interest in prehistoric artifacts, so he hopes to become an archaeologist. He plans to have a successful career as an archaeologist and accomplish all his life goals.
