Homemade Ginger Cayenne Muscle Rub

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of coconut oil

1/2 cup of Shea butter (as a base makes it super silky and moisturizing)

1 tsp ginger root powder

1 tsp of Cayenne powder ( soothes pain)

10 drops of Eucalyptus oil(ability to soothe sore muscles)

 

This rub is for when you have been working for too long and your muscles and joints are sore. You don’t have to be sore to enjoy it!

Steps:

1.  Melt the coconut oil and Shea butter using a double boiler system and place it in a sauce pan with some water on medium heat. Once they’ve melted, mix in the ginger and cayenne powder.

2.  Once the ingredients are mixed, remove from the heat and add the drops of eucalyptus oil. Stir, transfer to a jar, and place in the fridge to cool.

(use a small amount on the back of your hand to make sure you don’t have an reaction.)
