DIY Gold Pencil Holder

Having a well arranged work place is key to start loving to work at your desk. A way to keep your desk tidy is to organize all the writing utensils you use. This simple and easy to make pencil holder is fashionable and function-able to everyone’s needs. This pretty gold pencil holder can be usually found at Anthropology for about $48.00, but with this tutorial it can be made for much less.
Materials:
- Cylinder shaped objects (can be made out of any material)
- Glue
- Wood Plank (for the base)
- Gold Spray Paint
Directions:
- Place cylinders on wood plank to see how you want to set up your pencil holder.
- Once you have placed your cylinders glue them down and let dry for a couple of hours.
- When dry, coat entire pencil holder with can of gold spray paint (paint entire pencil holder
about three times). - Leave pencil holder to dry for a couple of hours and when dry fill them up with your writing utensils.
This project is easy and very helpful and the best part is that you can customize it however you want by painting it a different color or adding on different designs. With this pencil holder you will be saving money and creating something that will last for a longtime.
