The BCCHS Boys’ Soccer Team have been playing well so far this season, but this time, they faced Granada at home. Last time these two teams faced off, Birmingham lost to Granada 3-1 in an away game, but this time Birmingham wanted to come out on top with the win.

Birmingham had a strong first half as they kept on attacking and forcing Granada’s defense to push down. Even though Granada tried to defend more, they still conceded the first goal from an amazing pass and an even better finish. Birmingham would later find goal number two from an incredible shot from outside the box. Birmingham was able to keep the score 2-0 before half-time.

When the second half started, Granada looked more determined than ever as they attacked through Birmingham’s defense. Birmingham felt overwhelmed at first, but began to push down and defend more. This proved to be useless as one of the Birmingham players gave away a free kick to the opposing side on the edge of the box. Granada took advantage of this and scored a header from the cross. Birmingham was furious and stepped their game up, but it still couldn’t stop a motivated Granada from scoring an amazing solo goal 2 minutes after the first goal. The final whistle blew and the game ended 2-2.
