The NFL season has come to an end and the playoffs have begun. The season has been full of many moments of excitement and devastation like every other season. The teams that made it to the wild card in the AFC are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, and Houston Texans, The NFC wildcard teams are the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, New York Giants, and Green Bay Packers. The first round bye teams for the AFC are the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. For the NFC first round bye it’s the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons.

The playoffs started on Saturday January 7, and the first game was the Oakland Raiders vs. Houston Texans. The Texans left the game with a win as the final score was 14-27. The game after that was the Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks and the Seahawks walked away victorious winning 26-6. On Sunday, January 8, the Miami Dolphins played the Pittsburgh Steelers and it ended 30-12 as the Steelers moved on to face the Kansas City Chiefs. The game that followed was the New York Giants vs Green Bay Packers and the Packers left with a win, 38-13.

The upcoming week was the Divisional round. The Seattle Seahawks were up against the Atlanta Falcons and the Falcons won 36-20. After the Falcons game finished, the New England Patriots faced the Houston Texans and while the Patriots struggled, they still came up with the win 34-16. The following day, the Green Bay Packers faced the Dallas Cowboys and the Packers beat the Cowboys 34-31 with a last second field goal. Following that game, the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs game featured two teams that struggled with the Steelers finally winning 18-16.

Once the Divisional round ended, the Conference round began the following week. The New England Patriots faced the Pittsburgh Steelers for the AFC Conference game, and the Patriots beat the Steelers 36-17. The game was pretty much one-sided the first half and part of the second half. For the NFC Conference game, the Green Bay Packers clashed with the Atlanta Falcons and the Falcons won 44-21– a convincing victory after struggling a bit at the beginning of the season.
