Netflix’s original movie “Bright” seems to have a deeper meaning according to many of the viewers. The movie involves humans, orcs, elves and fairies living in modern day Los Angeles.

Actors Will Smith and Joel Edgerton are the main characters and they are both police officers. Smith as “Scott Ward” and Edgerton as “Nick Jakoby.” Smith plays a normal human being while Edgerton plays an Orc (Jakoby) who is the first orc ever to be a cop.

This unlikely pair are judged throughout the entire movie because of the differences of their backgrounds. Even though they are talked about by the rest of the world, they have more serious things to focus on. For instance, they are protecting a young female elf who has special power and brings the two together to work as good partners.

Some moviegoers see the humans, orcs, elves, and fairies as representative of the different classes from today’s society. Elves are the high class, humans are the middle class, and the orcs and fairies represent the low class.

It may sound a little weird, but this movie really shows the different lifestyles exactly. The dressing and speaking styles basically show how each of the humans, orcs, elves, and fairies live differently including their living environment. They all represent themselves completely and are very different from each other. Throughout the movie, you can see the different actions and prejudices each species has towards one another.
