Brianna Alvarado is a 17-year-old senior attending Birmingham Charter High School. This is now Brianna’s second year in journalism and she is happy to be in journalism for a second year because she enjoys writing stories, likes to keep up with what’s going on, and wants people to know what’s going on in the world. She looks forward to this year and is the current Managing Editor for The Patriot Post. 

Brianna has been attending Birmingham for four years and so far she has had various positive experiences in high school.  She plans on going to college to study in the medical field to become an anesthesiologist or a registered nurse. Brianna sometimes likes to travel and so far she has been to Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. This summer she went to Mexico to visit family and had a great time there. One day she hopes to travel to Dubai, Miami, and Italy. 

Brianna has always had a love for pets and this love remains the same today. When she was growing up, she always wanted her dog, and now she will soon be getting a puppy and she is very excited. During her free time, she enjoys going on walks, running, talking to friends, watching movies or shows, and just getting rest and taking time to relax. One of her favorite movies she’s recently watched is Ghost Rider. She’s seen both movies and has liked both of them. One of her favorite shows is Fool Me Once and Narcos and she enjoyed watching both of those shows. 

Brianna hopes to accomplish all of her dreams in her life: graduate high school, go to college, graduate college, get her dream job, and eventually own a home of her own. She is determined to accomplish all of her life goals.
