Bryan Gonzalez, Front Page Editor
Bryan Gonzalez is a senior at Birmingham Community Charter High School. Bryan was born in Sun Valley, California, and dreams of studying at Cal State University in Long Beach to become a dietitian in the future. His parents are both from Mexico, specifically the areas of Zacatecas and Jalisco in Central Northern Mexico. He also has one younger sibling, which makes him the oldest. Some of his favorite hobbies include shopping, traveling, and binge-watching shows. He loves reading about celebrities or breaking news. His favorite celebrity news outlet is Time magazine.
Bryan loves traveling to Texas, specifically Galveston, Texas, where he loves vacationing. He loves celebrity news and/or breaking news more than anything. This makes him really good at searching for sources, especially when the sources are limited. Something Bryan excels at is interviewing or coming up with creative and unique ideas. He also loves to cover stories that are breaking so he can inform more people about them. Bryan has a great work ethic that allows him to work proficiently and quickly. He loves to listen to hip-hop and pop and some of his favorite artists include Azealia Banks, Katy Perry, and Arca.
Bryan enjoys reading about current world news events and articles that sound interesting. Bryan enjoys following the latest media personalities on different platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and X (formally known as Twitter). He likes to go on trips to different parts of the world because that inspires him to know more about the world he lives in. Bryan also loves to watch horror movies especially Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead, and Halloween. Reporting on new upcoming horror movies will definitely be an exciting activity for him. Lastly, he thinks he would make a great addition to the newspaper staff because he enjoys covering breaking news. As the front page editor, Bryan would love to improve his journalism skills as well as his writing skills because he thinks there is always room for improvement.
