Exciting BCCHS Senior Summer Vacation Plans

As the 2023 school year ends, seniors are starting to unwind, prepare for summer, and plans are filling their heads. There are so many exciting things to do in the summer, and the plans are endless because summertime is the time for seniors to relax before starting their first year of college.

When people think about summer, they think about the beach, friends, ice cream, the sun, and much more. One fun thing seniors can do is take a trip. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, an amusement park, or another state or country, it will be fun.

BCCHS seniors were offered a trip to Disneyland, but not all seniors were able to go, so taking a trip on their own time would be a perfect plan. Disneyland is a fun place to go because there are so many things to do, so many things to see, and so many rides. Yet in Southern California, there are also several other fun amusements parks such as: Universal Studios, Six Flags, Knotts Berry Farm, Sea World, and San Diego Wild Animal Park.

I have many plans on my bucket list. Plans I have for this summer include going to the beach, traveling to Puerto Rico, and many more fun activities. Going to the beach is a must for me because it’s where I find peace and have so much fun.

My family and I have been planning a fun girls’ trip to Puerto Rico because it’s been a place on our bucket list for a long time. Some other fun activities I plan on doing are going to Six Flags, (since I just bought the season pass), going rollerskating, and camping/barbecuing and much more.

Other seniors have fun plans as well. BCCHS senior Nina Joy Requierme has plans to work at an internship with Kaiser Permanente.  She said, “I have an internship, so yeah, I’m going to be doing that.”  She also said she has plans to go to the beach and go shopping.

Whether seniors are going to work, to travel, or to go out, they should find time to prepare for the big change coming, which is heading to college, work, or the military. This summer vacation will be memorable for seniors since it is the last one before officially becoming an adult in college.
