English band Oasis rocked their two sold-out shows in Los Angeles at the Rose Bowl on September 6 and 7 of this year. The band shocked the world when they announced their “Oasis Live ‘25” reunion tour. They will be touring in North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and Europe. The tour began in July and is set to end around late November. Fans were extremely desperate to get their hands on tickets, considering that the last show they performed was on August 22, 2009, at the V Festival in Staffordshire, England.
After that show, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher feuded, which involved violent arguing backstage before their set at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. This ended up with not only their show getting cancelled, but the rest of the tour as well. This led to the band breaking up for years.
For the past 15 years, fans and younger generation fans begged for Oasis to get back together. Since they are one of England’s most popular bands in the Britpop movement, many English fans were clamoring for their reunion. Out of their eight studio albums, two of them, Definitely Maybe and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory, made them into the band they are today, with tracks like “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” “Live Forever,” “Supersonic,” and many more. After Liam and Noel were able to put their differences aside, they announced that they were going to get back together to tour.
They wrapped the U.S. leg in Los Angeles, selling out their two nights, with band openers such as Cage the Elephant and Cast. The crowds were electric while singing with pride. A total of 90,000 fans attended each night with well-known celebrities like Sir Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Leonardo DiCaprio, Salma Hayek, Gwyneth Paltrow, etc. Asian, Australian, and South American fans are very much looking forward to their upcoming tour dates.
