Ne’Veah Hartzog, Staff Writer
Ne’Veah (nuh-vay-uh) Hartzog is a junior at Birmingham who attended CHAMPS charter high school for her first two years before deciding to transfer for her last two years of high school.
Growing up, she always loved singing and as a teenager, it is still something that she is passionate about. Ne’Veah has performed over 5 times and was in her last high school’s choir but she didn’t like not being able to perform songs that fit her voice and vibe so she decided that school choirs just weren’t her thing. She was also in a jazz band which she enjoyed a lot since she was the main singer but she had to leave due to her leaving that school. She does still wish to be a singer but she is most likely going to wait until after college to pursue that dream.
Ne’Veah has 2 main plans for life after graduating high school, one is going to Berklee College of Music in Boston for a degree in Music Business and Management or going to Oberlin College in Ohio to get a degree in either I.T. or in Criminal Justice. Who knows, she might just do both of those options since she can’t decide.
