UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid vs. Liverpool in the Final

UEFA’s elite clubs compete with top clubs from across the European continent and battle for the right to be crowned European champions.  Champions League semi-finals are based on two games, one home and one away. These semi-finals started with Real Madrid vs Man City and Liverpool vs Villarreal. 

Real Madrid vs. Liverpool in the Champions League Finals

On May 6, 2022, Real Madrid took the victory against Man City by a close score of 6-5. In the first game, Man City took the victory with a score of 4-3. The four goals from Man city came from Kevin Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Phill Foden, and Bernardo for Real Madrid. Karim Benzema scored two goals and Vinicius jr made one.

In the second game, Real Madrid won with an overall score of 3-1. For Real Madrid, Karim Benzema made one goal and Rodrygo made two. For Man City, Riyad Mahrez made one.

On May 3, 2022, Liverpool took the victory against Villarreal with a score of 5-2. First game Liverpool took the victory with a score of 2-0. The goals came from Pervis Estupiñán and Sadio Mané. In the second game, Liverpool took the victory with a score of 2-3. The two goals from Villareal came from Boulaye and Francis Coquelin and for Liverpool, Fabinho, Luis Díaz, and Sadio Mané made one goal each.

In the Champions League Final, only one game is played instead of two which makes it more intense. This final will be played on May 28, 2022, in the stadium “Stade de France.” Real Madrid has won 13 Champions League titles overall, and Liverpool has won six Champions League titles.
