Theodore Alevizos, Opinion Editor
Theodore Alevizos is currently a senior and the Opinion Editor for the BCCHS Patriot Post. His name is Theodore, but you can call him Ted, Teddy Bear, Ted Moseby, Ted Bundy, Ted Cruz (you get the point). He has an affinity for Italian food, and is always craving it (so bring him some). He has been playing piano for 14 years and primarily enjoys playing jazz and blues, as he is from New Orleans. He enjoys listening to progressive rock bands such as Yes, ELO, King Crimson, and Dream Theater, and is a lover of music in general. When not being studious at school, you can find him under the hood of his 1991 Nissan Pathfinder, which always seems to need fixing. When it doesn’t need fixing, he is taking it all around the Mojave Desert, hitting up off-road trails and romping in it about the desert sands. Ted is also the president of the Trails and Peaks Hiking Club at Birmingham, which meets in D16 at lunch on Fridays. As you can see, he loves the outdoors. History is by far his favorite subject, and he is very proud of achieving a 5 score on both the AP European History and US History exams. He is also a proficient writer, and has written many an essay and short story. He is honored to serve as the Opinion Editor for the Patriot Post for the 2017-2018 school year.
