Zachary Ignacio, Staff Writer
Zachary Ignacio is a 17-year-old junior at Birmingham Community Charter High School and he thinks it is the best high school in the San Fernando Valley. He is a junior who likes to watch and play sports. He is typically called Zach because it's his nickname and all his friends like to call him that. He loves photography and video games and has a PC at home. At home, he just got a dog that is a Shih Tzu named Bennet, Benny for short. At school, he is trying his best to earn good grades and go to a good college when he graduates. He wishes to go to the university to have a good start early in life.
Zach has many different kinds of interests, but the top three have to be cars, basketball, and skating. He has a lot of skateboards at home but usually uses his electric scooter to travel when he needs to. He likes cars and goes to events like Wekfest and Formula Drift. His favorite basketball team has to be the Lakers. He is interested in music and listens to the genres R&B, Rap, OPM, and many more. His favorite song has to be "Shhh" by Colde which is in the genre of Korean R&B which he thinks sounds good. He takes his skateboard to basketball courts near where he lives and plays there whenever he feels like playing. Sometimes he would go to the park to play sports with his friends and hang out after.
His future may be uncertain but he is sure that he will try his best with the opportunities he gets. He is a person who always has fun when he can because he thinks having fun is the best thing that can happen in a person's life. He hopes that his junior year is very exciting, seeing that most of his friends are seniors. He is taking the Yearbook class for his junior year which lets him go to all the senior events happening this 2022-2023 year. He is also taking Journalism, which allows him to write stories for the online school newspaper, The Patriot Post. Overall, this year at Birmingham seems like it will be a very fun and exhilarating year.
