The Los Angeles Rams played the Chicago Bears in a playoff game on January 18, 2026. The game was very cold, and the stadium was loud with lots of fans for both teams. Both of the teams knew the game was important and played with maximum effort. People watching could feel the pressure on the field, as every play mattered in this playoff matchup. It was win or go home, and neither team wanted to go home.
The Rams scored first and controlled the game early. Their defense played tough and did not allow many big plays for the Chicago Bears. The Bears tried to move the ball down the field but made some mistakes. The Rams stayed focused and did not rush. A Rams player said, “We played hard and trusted each other.”
At halftime, the Rams were winning, but the game was still very close. The Bears came back onto the field with more energy and tried to keep fighting. The Rams answered by running the ball and making safe passes instead of playing a running game.
By the end of the game, the Rams held their lead and won the playoff matchup. Players celebrated together on the field after the final play. The win helped the Rams advance in the playoffs to face the Seattle Seahawks. The Bears left the field disappointed but proud of their effort.
BCCHS student Jayden Montoya (11) stated, ” I am really happy the Rams won over the Chicago Bears because the Los Angeles Rams have been my favorite team ever since I was a little kid. Although we didn’t make it too far after beating the Bears, I am still happy we eliminated them.”
