Alan Martinez, Staff Writer
Alan Martinez is a 17-year-old junior who attends Birmingham Community Charter High School. He enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with his friends. He even enjoys listening to music and playing with his little nephew.
Alan also likes watching movies and watching multiple TV series. He hopes to attend CSUN, but he is still on a journey to find his major. He likes going to Six Flags--especially if it's with all of his friends. He is one of four siblings, and he has two older sisters and one younger brother. He was born and raised in California his whole life. Alan's family is from Mexico City.
Alan likes to play video games with his friends. He does not spend that much time playing, but when he does, it always makes him very happy because he enjoys laughing with them. Alan has a little white dog called "Marsh Mellow." Alan is looking forward to the NBA playoffs starting soon and supporting his team, the Milwaukee Bucks. He hopes that the Bucks can win the NBA playoffs. Alan is also a fan of the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL, but he is currently disappointed in them. He also supports Real Madrid. Alan has been a Madrid fan for his entire life because his dad introduced him to enjoying soccer and Real Madrid. He would do anything for his three sports teams.
Alan's main focus in life right now is graduating high school. He knows the sacrifices his parents made for him to have an amazing life, so he is going to repay them by getting a good education and a good job. He does have a strong determination to have a good life and to support his parents in any way he can. He helps babysit his siblings and all of his nephews so his parents and sister can rest. He appreciates his family.
