Michael Ochoa is a senior at Birmingham Community Charter High School. He has attended Birmingham since his Freshman year. He wants to become a sports analyst/journalist when he grows up. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dodgers fan, and he became a fan of these teams because of his family. Michael’s favorite player of all time is Jason Witten. Michael has two blue-nose pit bulls named Cuervo and Skye. He loves them so much he considers them his kids. He loves to spend time with family and friends. He is very close with his first cousin Hector, whom he considers his best friend. A person that inspires him is his Grandpa because of his work ethic and his caring personality.
One of Michael’s goals for this year is to graduate and pass all his classes with at least a “B” or better. He also wants to become very successful when he’s older, as his dream is to buy a house for his parents and eventually retire them. In order to achieve his goals, he has to work harder in all his classes. Michael wants to achieve all his goals in life including being very successful financially.
Michael has traveled during the past year including going to Michoacan, Mexico to his grandpa’s house and Dallas, Texas to his aunt’s house. His favorite foods are pasta (lasagna), Mexican food, and pupusas. His favorite T.V. shows are El Chapo, Rick and Morty, and The Office. His favorite movies are Blood in Blood out, Scarface, and The Blind Side. He claims he watched it eight times in one weekend. What he wants to witness in life is the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl. He believes that the greatest quote ever said was “How ’bout them Cowboys?!” by coach Jimmy Johnson.
