Sarai Menjivar, Staff Writer
Sarai Menjivar is a 17-year-old senior at Birmingham Community Charter High School. She is trying to make the best of her senior year during a worldwide pandemic. She is also part of the yearbook comity. You will see her around taking pictures. She has been on the swim team since freshman year and was in water polo freshman through junior year. Sarai has taken multiple honors and AP classes.
Sarai loves hanging out with her friends. She is a social butterfly and loves meeting new people. She enjoys volunteering and helping out other people and is a volunteer at an animal shelter with cats. She loves cats; she owns 4 cats of her own and loves them very much. She loves the outdoors and tries her best to go out either to go out on hikes or to hang out with her friends. She wants to travel from New York to Brazil.
Sarai has her future planned out. Two of her dream colleges are UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis. She hopes to get into one of those. She wants to become an aquatic veterinarian because she has a big heart when it comes to helping animals. She hopes to write many stories on the post and she is very excited to be in this class.
