Three years after their North American Arena Tour, rock band Bon Jovi announced their return to the road with their 2026 Forever Tour. The band’s last performance was at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 30, 2022. This was due to lead vocalist and founder Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery, which took place shortly after the tour.
One of Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cords atrophied, getting smaller and weaker as it was pushed by the other vocal cords, which ultimately affected his voice. Bon Jovi has been healing and recovering from surgery, which sparked the return to go back on tour.
BCCHS student Isaac Herrera (11) strongly suggests that Bon Jovi should “take it a bit easy” on his new tour, given his long recovery from vocal surgery. He suggested that he should “take less than an hour and a half to preserve his voice, and also because he is 63 years old.” Isaac still believes that his tour “will still be cool” as the band goes back on tour.
Bon Jovi is a notorious American Rock band formed in Sayreville, New Jersey, in 1983. The band is most famously known for their songs “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” and, “You Give Love a Bad Name,” all made in 1986.
Guitarist, singer, and leader Jon Bon Jovi is best known among the band members. Other members include guitarist Phil X, drummer Tico Torres, current bassist Hugh McDonald, percussionist Everett Bradley, and finally, keyboardist David Bryan. Since their tour announcement, Bon Jovi has especially expressed how excited they are to finally be back on tour.
Bon Jovi initially announced their recent tour on October 22, 2025, revealing the first dates on the tour, which begins in July 2026. The main locations of the tour will take place in New York, the United Kingdom, and one night only in Ireland.
Since October, the final tour dates have been added to these locations that start on July 7th, 2026, in New York at Madison Square Garden, and coming to an end on September 9, 2026, in London at Wembley Stadium.
